Only just found out I have a little treasure

It would seem that the vase my grandfather bought in the early sixties is a much sought after filigran lava glaze piece by designer Adele Bolz. 

The pear shaped vase was produced between 1959 and 1963 

by Ruscha in West Germany.

I've always loved this piece, it has a nice texture 

and although it's not water tight, it's perfect for displaying branches.
