Anna come Vincent van Gogh
156 anni fa nasceva Vincent van Gogh e chissà cosa avrebbe pensato sapendo di essere oggi il pittore probabilmente più riconoscibile in assoluto. Le sue opere sono riprodotte ancora oggi su ogni genere di articolo e sfido chiunque a non saper citare istantaneamente il nome di almeno uno dei suoi quadri più famosi. Ed è così anche per molti bambini che, nonostante la tenera età, hanno già sentito parlare di quel pittore che "fece una cosa proprio brutta" e dipingeva usando moltissime spirali e segnetti di tanti colori ma nella sua vita vendette un solo quadro.
Ecco dunque che anche l'Anna si è cimentata in una personale versione delle celebri spirali. Non sono girasoli, ma tant'è...

A propos Vincent: his birthday was obviously also the main subject during this morning's lessons. Ben came home and told me all about how they learned about Mr Van Gogh and how he painted in little 'cerchi' as you say on your post, and about the lovely sunflowers and how he cut his ear off, and also (are you ready?) how he made the sign of the cross before proceeding to shoot himself in the head. I said: Really???? Who told you that? B replied: Marikka!
It was very funny and he told it with such honesty and it obviously made a huge (!) impact on him.
Just looked at Anna's little mouse again, it's so lovely. Have you eaten it????
