... ma per quanto mi riguarda, oggi vedo la primavera dappertutto. Gennaio è un mese di transizione che sembra proprio non piacere a nessuno e oggi non splende neppure il sole, perciò bisogna accontentarsi di scovare un po' di colore dove capita, ad esempio in un piatto di gnocchi di zucca ai broccoli o nei bulbi di giacinto che fanno già il loro dovere.
... but I'm fed up with winter already, so I'm trying very hard to detect a bit of spring atmosphere wherever I can in this rather glum day. My lunch, for instance, or the flowering bulbs on my table display the sunny colours that somehow manage to lighten up my mood a bit.
